John Willis serves as Vice President of Operations for StrataTech Education Group, where he provides enterprise-level operational leadership and strategic support across the organization’s campuses. With 28 years of experience in post-secondary education, John has held senior leadership roles across admissions, academics, student services, and campus executive leadership. His work centers on advancing student success while driving operational efficiency, academic quality, and scalable growth.
Prior to his current role, John served as Campus President of Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center in Houston, where he led recruitment, instruction, and day-to-day campus operations. During his tenure, the campus strengthened student outcomes, improved performance across key operational metrics, and enhanced alignment between academic programs and employer and workforce needs.
John holds a Master of Science in Education and Human Resources Development from Texas A&M University, along with a Master of Arts in Communication and a Bachelor of Arts from Stephen F. Austin State University. His background in education, communication, and leadership informs a collaborative, people-centered approach grounded in accountability, clarity, and continuous improvement.
