PHOENIX (September 16, 2019) – StrataTech Education Group, which specializes in the operation of skilled trade schools, is proud to announce it has named Matthew Tidwell vice president of corporate development. Tidwell joins StrataTech Education Group from WOZ U, where he served as vice president of business development from 2017 to 2019.
In his new role, Tidwell will build and execute a business case and go-to-market strategy for StrataTech’s corporate development segment. Tulsa Welding School interacts with over 500 corporate partners, and Tidwell will focus to generate revenue directly from these partners to generate significant value. Tidwell is also responsible for developing strategy and executing sales and delivery to demonstrate proof of concept.

Tidwell has a broad range of experience as a respected business development executive with 15+ years in higher education. He has accomplished process improvements and implemented solutions for customer service and satisfaction for turnaround and high-growth organizations. He’s held executive positions at Grand Canyon University, Altius Education, Inc., North Central University and Brighton College.
Tidwell received his executive MBA in Business from the Ken Blanchard College of Business and obtained his B.S. in Marketing from Grand Canyon University.
