Senator Marco Rubio of Florida toured TWS Jacksonville on Tuesday. Rubio says that TWS’s training programs fit into the American Dreams Accounts Act, which was passed to make access to programs more affordable.
Rubio says vocational training ought to be prioritized in the US because of the shortage of welders and pipe fitters. “We want to see more opportunities for young Americans to find dignified work,” Rubio said.
