Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center (Houston) hosted a grand opening event on Wednesday, September 18, to celebrate the launch of its Refrigeration Technologies Program. With proven curriculum from the nationally recognized educational institution The Refrigeration School, Inc., the program expansion will address the need for highly-skilled workers in the Houston market, while also providing career opportunities for high school graduates and new technology training opportunities for current industry professionals.
The event featured remarks by campus president, Dale Turner and President and CEO of StrataTech Education Group, Mary Kelly. Guest attendees included representation from Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia, HVAC YouTube personality AK HVAC.
The short, seven-month program equips graduating students with an HVAC/R certification.
