The Refrigeration School, Inc. Announces Online Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Program

Phoenix, Arizona – October 12, 2012 – The Refrigeration School, Inc. is proud to announce that courses in their Associate of Occupational Studies in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering degree program are available online. Now, once students have completed the first 9 months of this 15-month program, which is the on-campus Electro-Mechanical Technologies program, the remaining 6 months will be completed online.

RSI President, Heather Haskell says,

“This new online component recognizes that students want more flexibility in how they learn, and helps RSI to better serve and cater to students in a wide range of life stages.”

Combining the on-campus prerequisite classes with the now online advanced level classes will combine a foundation of hands-on training with the convenience of online learning to add more focus on the academic portion of this program. Graduates of the Associate of Occupational Studies in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering degree program can pursue careers as an electrician’s apprentice, electrical repair technician, electrician, electronics technician, HVAC service technician, HVAC installer, electrical fitter,vehicle electrician, electrical engineer, in electrical systems installation or electrical system service.

RSI is excited that this move to online courses in the Mechanical Maintenance Engineering degree program could help to make HVACR careers even more accessible for many people.
