Expanded Skilled Trades Offerings at TWS: TWS Jacksonville Announces New Electrical Applications Program

Jacksonville, Fla. (6/5/2015) —Tulsa Welding School (TWS) has recently added an Electrical Applications program to its Jacksonville campus. For over 60 years, TWS has trained its students for careers in the skilled trades. TWS Jacksonville decided to add the Electrical Applications program to meet the increasing demand for electricians across the country and in Florida. Tulsa Welding School Hosts Annual Welding Competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jacksonville, Florida

The Tulsa Welding Schools (TWS) located in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Jacksonville, Florida, held their annual High School Senior Welding Competitions in February. An estimated 1,800 people were in attendance at both campuses combined. Participating students had the opportunity to compete for over $250,000 in scholarships and prizes. All 430 competitors, regardless of placement, were awarded a $500 scholarship to use towards tuition at TWS. Additional scholarships and prizes were given to the top 35 winners. Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting

Tulsa Welding School & Technology Center (TWSTC) hosted a Grand Opening Open House and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony event on April 9, 2015 at the Houston campus. The Grand Opening Open House had 40 attendees and included campus tours, demonstrations, and information on topics such as how to apply for financial aid.
